Another rainy season’s and all times favourite food of many especially evening timings is mirchi bajji. This time, I am going to prepare Keema Bajjis. Stuffed with keema mix and deep fried green chillies which are popularly known as Keema Mirchi Bajji. Let's see how to prepare them
Ingredients
Green chillies big size 4
Oil for deep frying
For the green chilli stuffing
Keema 1 cup
Turmeric powder ` tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Ginger-garlic paste 2 tbsps
Oil 1 tsp
Onions chopped ½ cup
Green chillies 2 chopped
Cheese ½ cup grated
For the outer batter
Chickpea flour 1 cup
Salt 1 tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Chilli powder 1 tsp
Cooking soda little bit
Water as required
Procedure to make keema bajjis
-First wash the green chillies well and wipe them dry and deseed them carefully. So, that they hold the stuffing.
For the keema mix, first boil keema with salt, turmeric powder and oil for 20 minutes. Then add chopped onions, grated cheese and chopped green chillies to the boiled keema and mix well. Then stuff this keema mix in the deseeded chillies thoroughly.
For the batter, in a bowl take chickpea flour, salt, cumin seeds, and required amount of water. The batter should have the consistency of a mirchi bajji batter.
Now let's get the better ready for frying the stuffed keema mirchis. First take some chickpea flour, cumin seeds, salt, red chilli powder and prepare a nice, smooth, thick batter. Now dip stuffed keema mirchis and coat the batter well and deep fry them till they are crisp or golden brown.
Enjoy this on any evening and any rainy day and your day is made.
Keema mirchi bajji is ready to be had with some sauce or chutney as you like.
