Rescue Operation in Jaspur-Terai West Division - Uttarakhand Forest Department

Описание: A recent rescue operation near Jaspur, in the Terai west Division of Uttarakhand, India. Four leopard cubs were reported to be in the area and their mother missing.
The Uttarakhand Forest Department staff reached the location and identified the young to be in fact kittens of a Jungle Cat.
The young were examined by the Veterinary Officer. On being found healthy and fit, these were reunited with their mother under controlled circumstances. The mother Jungle cat did reach out to her cubs and took them away back into the forest.
