We went to school together, grew up together, and now here we are in our 30s, reconnecting through food and memories. She was actually the very first guest on this “talk-বক “ , makes this episode even more special. Life has taken her across the world, and she now lives in the USA. She is a wonderful mother, a full-time homemaker, and someone who expresses a lot of love through her cooking. Originally from Medinipur, West Bengal, she brings with her the beautiful flavors of her roots. And today, she has made a very special dish for us, “machher tok” a classic from her region.

In this episode, my special guest Pritha joins us to cook a traditional Bengali delicacy — Rui Macher Tok (রুই মাছের টক) — a sweet & tangy fish curry from Midnapore, West Bengal.
