Dooars in 10 minutes | A Bengali Travel Vlog | Trip Archive

Описание: The Dooars or Duars are the foothills of the eastern Himalayas in North-East India around Bhutan. Duar means 'door' and the region forms the gateway to Bhutan from India.
The region is ideal for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers. It is known for its wildlife sanctuaries where one can spot herds of deer, one-horned rhinos, elephants, and reptiles.

The best time to visit Dooars is between October to March.
We visited there in the month of December. It was a (4 days - 3 nights) trip and we covered Jaldapara, Buxa Tiger Reserve, Jayanti, Lal Jhamela Basti, Gorumara, and several viewpoints like Jhalong Bindu, Rocky Island, Suntalekhola, etc.

I tried to include the trip in a very brief way (just around 10 mins video). Still, I am sharing the entire itinerary below if it helps.

ℹ️ Itinerary:
🔹Day 1: Reached Jaldapara in the afternoon. Did Jaldapara Jungle Safari.
🔹Day 2: Went to Buxa Tiger Reserve. Visited Jayanti, Mahakal Cave, Pokhri Lake along with. Back to Jaldapara again for the night stay.
🔹Day 3: Visited Lal Jhamela Basti and then Gorumara. Stay at Gorumara. You can have the Gorumara Jungle safari too on the same day if you want.
🔹Day 4: We covered several viewpoints since we had our train booked at 8 PM from NJP. Places are Gairibas View Point, Jhalong Bindu, Rocky Island, Suntalekhola, etc.
