London Taxi Knowledge Bluebook List 1 Runs 1-16

Описание: London is a fascinating city, rich in history, which residents and tourists can discover on foot and by iconic transportation methods such as The London Underground, red Routemaster buses, Thames river boats and licensed London taxi cabs.

After an enjoyable family trip to London in June 2022 to see Queen + Adam Lambert at The O2 Arena, I discovered Tom Hutley’s YouTube channel “Tom The Taxi Driver” and started to become interested in how people learning The Knowledge master what must surely be the world’s most infamous and gruelling test of memory.

The main purpose of producing this video is to generate some systematic output from the learning process and hone my voiceover and video editing skills. I hope it is useful or interesting for casual viewers. I might produce more in due course as time permits.

At the time of publishing this video I have set up the first 80 of 320 total Bluebook runs on Google Maps and used those to generate all the screenshots you see in this video. I called the runs and recorded them directly into iMovie. The screenshots are arranged to appear synchronously with the roads and streets which are being called on them.
