Vtec Challenge 2018 Oulton Park Race 2

Описание: With a nice win under our belt I'd be starting on pole for the second race.

And tbh, these races were all for fun and to mix it up with a different crowd.

My car was knackered, pads were down to about 3-4mm of material, my cooling ducts were done, it was pulling left, brakes shuddering due to the heat build up and feeling down on power.

Chris had fixed his boosted EK and we were all ready for the very last race of the VTC season, which although I only did a few races with, were all fantastically run. I don't know why so many hondas scatter themselves around in race series where there are only a few competitors and they really should all just head here.

The race had an exciting start and then I had to settle down and manage what I had in hand to get make it to the end without any disasters.

Again it was fantastic to be racing against such powerful cars, but I do think it really puts a highlight around what concentrating on a really strong chassis package can achieve. We've spent all year setting records with a bone stock K24 frank engine and I really hope to see more people concentrating on the big picture rather than the big number in the future.
