READ THIS BEFORE YOU COMMENT SO YOU WON'T LOOK FOOLISH. The KEY is to lay down the net BEFORE the leaves fall. Mulching them can kill the grass in the spring if you don't remove it, and if you mulch every year you will have to apply lime eventually. RAIN gets through the SuperNetTM, so the grass and its roots continue to grow much longer than usual. When the leaves are all DOWN, DRAG them into the woods or to a compost pile or to the curb for pickup by the city (in some cities). Or ROLL UP the net and take the rolls to a landfill. An 8 YEAR OLD CHILD can do what you see in the video. NOT A SINGLE LEAF would be left on the lawn if the mesh holes in the net were smaller. Dragging a net with snow on it will leave a driveway or sidewalk "BROOM CLEAN,"
You can also use a net to remove existing or new SNOW from a flat or peaked ROOF.
You may fabricate and use my invention, which I call The SuperNet(TM).
Here is how to fabricate the 12' x 25' "set" that you see in this video.
1) Buy Tenax Garden Fence or Blue Hawk fence in a 4' X 50' roll. Note that these rolls are usually a foot or so shorter than 50' long. Tenax could fix this by setting their counting device to count more horizontal strips before cutting the net off.
2) Cut the fence to 2 or 3 pieces of the same length. Two 4' x 25' pieces linked together is the easiest size to use.
3) Link the pieces together using zip ties, hook & loop cable ties, twisters, wire, etc. Or interlace them together with a nylon rope or wire making a "set."
4) Lay out the set before the leaves begin to fall.
5) Leave a few strips of grass bare to walk on and rake the leaves off those strips onto a net before taking that net up.
