Driving the Ruta 40 | Argentina Travel Vlog

Описание: We got so lost driving the Ruta 40!
Today's travel vlog we made the journey back into Argentina from Chile. We crossed the border near Chile Chico and jumped on the famous Ruta 40.
Once we got on the Ruta 40, I made a quick stop to fuel up and also get some Mate in my system. If you don't know about the Argentinean mate addiction, I vlogged about it once already, but basically they're addicted, and so am I. I love mate, and it's a great kick starter to a long day's drive.
The morning, though, seemed to be going really well until we realized that we were over 100km off of the Ruta 40 and quite a bit lost. I have no idea how we made the mistake, but I'm going to blame Greg. Essentially, we lost over 2 hours by making the mistake, and it meant that we weren't going to make our goal of arriving in El Chalten by sunset.
Instead, we eventually stopped right on the Ruta 40 for sunset as Greg flew his drone.
Eventually, we made it to the outskirts of El Chalten and we had the sight of the stunning Fitzroy mountain in our views. So, we set up the van life, and did some star photography to end the day. And, even though it was a really long day of driving in Argentina, I think the vlog is still a lot of fun.
Over the next couple days, the Argentina vlogs should be even more fun as we're starting out on our photography and hiking adventures in the El Chalten area. There are some beautiful sights coming up in the next couple episodes, I promise you!
