Double-weave pushes our rigid heddle looms way out of their comfort zones. This is mainly because in order to achieve our double-weave, we have to have three threads in each slot, and these threads need to be able to pass each other freely. However, this doesn't always happen, and sometimes we need to help them along a little bit in order to make sure that our weaving is as accurate as possible.
Here are a few of the methods that I use to make sure that my double-weave on my rigid heddle loom stays as snag free as possible.
