Part 1-NTN Registration
First you get register in FBR. For NTN registration, required data is your ID card front and back picture, your active email and mobile number which must be registered On your CNIC and not used in FBR before. If mobile number is not registered on your cnic, mobile number registered on your blood relatives cnic number can be used.
Note-After getting NTN Registration you have to file your income tax return every year.
Part 2-Income Tax return filing
For income tax return filing, you have to provide your bank statements, salary slips, properties/ vehicles details which are in your name, loans given or taken, gifts given or taken, insurances premiums paid, shares investments, companies in your name, utilities bill, liabilities etc.
Note-If you are not involved in any of above transactions-then you don’t need to provide these documents.
Part-3-When an Individual become filer/ Name is included in active tax payer list(ATL)
If you file your income tax return between 01-07- To---30-09-your name is included in Active tax payer list immediately.
IF you file return after 30-09--you have to pay default surcharge of 1k and after two hours your name will be included in active tax payer list and you will become late active filer.
