This project is a visual exploration of organic movement and light. I wanted to capture the contrast between the rhythmic, soft "bloom" of the cloth and a dark, mystic atmosphere.
To achieve this specific flow, I experimented with the Cinema 4D cloth system and exported the animation as an Alembic for precise retiming in post-production.
Part of the aesthetic was the integration of Real Lens Flares by Maxon. They are based on actual raytraced light calculations, allowing for a physically accurate interaction with the colors and the overall composition.
