Assalamualaikum.
Welcome to another new video of the articulation point of the letters (makharij al huroof) series. This is the 9th video of the series learn makharij al huruf with Shaykh Ismail Al-Qadi.
Today in this video, I will talk about the 5 different areas of tongue.
Here’s the 5 different areas of the tongue used for articulation.
1. Deepest Part
2. Middle Part
3. Sides of the Tongue
4. Head of the tongue
5. Tip of the Tongue
Deepest part of the tongue and the soft palate Letter Qaf – ق
Deepest part of the tongue and the soft palate Letter Kaf – ك
The position of Kaf is a little distance away from Qaf. Kaf is produced from the deepest end of the tongue which is closer to the mouth and away from the throat. [Qaf articulation point is closer to the throat.
