A fantasy based on reality.
The developers of FFXV have said that the city of Insomnia is mainly based on Tokyo's Shinjuku, with some elements from other major cities mixed in. This is a short montage of many of the real-world locations FFXV is inspired by. There is so much more from around Shinjuku but I hoped to include most of the major landmarks - as well as a few possible unused and unfinished inspirations such as the bell tower and opera house!
