Chilling final moments of Titan Submersible revealed

Описание: An engineer has described how he was fired from a deep-sea exploration company after warning that its vessel for taking sightseers to the wreck of the Titanic was unsafe — four years before it imploded during a dive, killing five people.

Tony Nissen, who was hired as engineering director at OceanGate in 2016, testified on Monday before a US Coast Guard (USCG) Marine Board of Investigation hearing on the implosion of the company’s Titan submersible in June last year.

The hearing included final messages sent by the Titan’s passengers before disaster struck, as well as an eerie image of the vessel’s wreckage on the sea floor.
