During this exclusive demo session, ZPS attendees experienced Brake- and EPS-in-the-Loop testing on the DiM150 driving simulator, powered by Meccanica42 solutions.
VI-grade has partnered with Meccanica42, establishing VI-grade as an official reseller of Meccanica42's innovative hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) and mechanical hardware-in-the-loop (mHiL) solutions and tools.
The session featured VI-grade's dynamic DiM150 simulator, seamlessly integrated with Meccanica42's EPSiL and BrakeiL test benches. Attendees drove through various scenarios, experiencing the vehicle's dynamic characteristics firsthand. Actions such as braking and steering were accurately replicated in real-time by the BrakeiL and EPSiL systems.
This integration, made possible by Meccanica42's HiL test benches, ensures precise and high-performance testing of steering and braking components.
This demo session was conducted at the 2024 VI-grade ZERO PROTOTYPES Summit at SimCenter Udine.
