In this video, I walk through how to replace the ignition coil on my County Line log splitter with a 6.5 HP Kohler engine. If your splitter has no spark or keeps shutting off, the coil is one of the first things many people try to swap out.

Installing and setting the gap on the new coil
Testing it out on the splitter

👉 Spoiler: the splitter starts… but dies again under load. So it turns out the coil wasn’t the final fix. At the end of this video, I share a teaser for what I discovered the real culprit is (next video coming soon).
