I'd Much Rather Talk About The New Ships, BUT The New Event Monetization Needs To Be Fixed (WoWs)

Описание: Seriously WG? I really don't like making these videos, I'd prefer to talk about this game I enjoy playing, how the new ships play & if they are worth getting. Unfortunately I can't really do that today with the new Lunar Treasures event, the only way to get these new ships is through loot boxes. It feels like a return to the start of 2025, WG have reverted back to old habits the instant 10th anniversary was over.

This may be worse than even D7P for $500+ or zf-6 for $1k+ to guarantee. If my math is right (correct me below) it will take 125 boxes (on average) to get drop of one of these new ships. With a pool of 6 that is 750 boxes to guarantee the 1 you want! And that's just average what if you get unlucky?

125 containers (on average) to get any 1 of the 6 'Nian's Treasure' ships

What if you only want a specific ship?

Average Result:

(First Layer Loot Box Chance) x (Second Layer Loot Box Chance / 6 items)
(0.1) x (0.08 / 6)
(0.1) x (0.01333) = 0.001333
(1) / (0.001333) = 750(approx.)

0.1333% chance to get a specific 'Nian's Treasure' ship to drop per 'Defenders of Order/Adherents of Chaos' Loot Box
750 containers (on average) to get a specific 'Nian's Treasure' ship

Cost:
Defenders of Order/Adherents of Chaos
1 = $2 or 500 doubloons
20 = $36 or 9,000 doubloons
100 = $160 or 40,000 doubloons

($160) x (1.25) = $200 or 50k doubloons (on average) for any 1 of the 'Nian's Treasure' ships
($160) x (7.5) = $1,200 or 300k doubloons (on average) for a specific 'Nian's Treasure' ship

Again please let me know if any of my math is wrong. I really don't want to spread misinformation here. Although the video will go live while I'm still asleep so it may be a few hours before I can add corrections.
