5 Effective parenting strategies to parent children with difficult behaviors

Описание: Children resort to aggressive behaviors because of a lack of wisdom and self-control. It is not a sign that a child is hateful or mean. Children are human beings and human beings will get angry, we can't prevent that. What we can do is teach children how to handle their frustration and anger in appropriate ways.

A person's behaviour can be defined as "challenging" if it puts them or those around them at risk, or leads to a poorer quality of life.It can also impact their ability to join in everyday activities.

Challenging behaviour can include:

aggression
self-harm
destructiveness
disruptiveness

As a parent, understanding why the person you look after is behaving in this way is the first point of call. If you can recognise the early warning signs, you may be able to prevent behavioural outbursts and help the child better.
