So when putting together a short geared towards demonstrating that a teenie tiny #3 Kouba Micro cam can hold my weight, I first tried a #2 in the crack instead. It was.... shall we say.... not the best piece.
Knowing this, I decided to back it up with a #.1 Black Diamond cam. And it was.... shall we say.... also not the best piece.
And so heavily doubting them both, I jammed a #.5 Black Diamond cam in the back, which was bomber!
So at least I have an eye for predicting the effectiveness of my placements!
