The 2025 Avatr 06 is a midsize luxury electric sedan developed through a collaboration between Changan, CATL, and Huawei, marking a significant entry into the competitive EV market with prices starting around $26,300 to $34,150 depending on the variant. It measures 4,855 mm long, 1,960 mm wide, and 1,450 mm tall, with a 2,940 mm wheelbase, featuring a sleek fastback design inspired by aerodynamic and agile forms. The exterior boasts distinctive elements such as "7"-shaped LED daytime running lights, flush door handles, optional electronic side mirrors with 6.7-inch displays, a ducktail spoiler, and an optional roof-mounted LiDAR sensor. The vehicle is available in six exterior colors and rides on 20 or 21-inch wheels, combining sporty aesthetics with functional innovation.

Under the hood, the Avatr 06 offers multiple powertrain options. The pure electric versions use CATL-supplied lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) batteries with capacities up to 82 kWh and an 800V electrical architecture. The rear-wheel-drive model delivers 252 kW (338 hp) with a CLTC range of 650 km, while the dual-motor all-wheel-drive version produces a combined 440 kW (590 hp) and offers about 610 km of range. The AWD variant accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds, with a top speed of 190-200 km/h. Additionally, an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) variant pairs a 231 kW electric motor with a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine acting as a generator, supported by a 31.7 or 45.1 kWh battery, providing up to 1,100 km of total range with 170-240 km of pure electric driving.

Inside, the Avatr 06 emphasizes luxury and technology, featuring a "mobile wellness sanctuary" concept with premium soft-touch materials covering 7 square meters of the cabin. The front seats incorporate zero-gravity ergonomics with 16-point massage, heating, and ventilation functions. The cockpit is dominated by a massive 35.4-inch panoramic ultra-wide display paired with a 15.6-inch floating touchscreen, complemented by dual 6.7-inch HD rearview screens, all running Huawei’s HarmonyOS and Qiankun ADS 3.0 intelligent driving system. This advanced driver assistance system integrates 27 perception devices, including a 192-line LiDAR, millimeter-wave radars, ultrasonic sensors, and cameras, enabling supervised autonomous driving, high-precision obstacle detection, and emergency braking up to 120 km/h. The cabin also features a 25-speaker Meridian audio system with 7.1.4 surround sound, smart-powered doors with obstacle detection, and a digital streaming rearview mirror, creating a high-tech, comfortable driving environment
