Mahasthangarh

It's location in Shibganj upazila of Bogra.

Gokul Medha or Behula Bazar

Its location is two kilometers away from Mahasthan average. Locally, it is known as Behula Bastarghar. However, the archaeologists do not think that it is a baseless house mentioned in mythology. Bhabani Temple Location of this temple is 40 kilometers away from the city of Bogra. This temple has special significance to the Hindu religious community in the subcontinent.

Pundravardhana is a very ancient name in the history of civilization. This place is named after Pundravardhana or Shiladipip, situated beside a high wall beside the Bogra-Rangpur highway in Shibganj upazila, about 7 kilometers north of Bogra city. Which was created nearly 4 hundred years ago. Later it was known as Mahasthan Average. There is a legend, established by Pundravardhana or the Mahasthan average king Parasuram. To the tourists, the 'Mahasthan average' has brightened the image of Bogra from the cosmos. The Mahasthan is standing today as a witness to the time.

There is a lot to see around Mahasthan Ganga. Gobind Munir Bhita, Geotkund, Vairagi Bhita, Shiladebir Ghat, Vimar Jangal, Gokul's Pond, God Stone, Manakhali Stupa, House of Raja Parashuram, Basail House of Behula, Yogir Bhawan, Bhasu Vihar, on the north-east corner of the Karatoya river. Visitors to foreign countries come and visit every day to see various historic monuments and structures including stacks. In addition to Mahasthan, there are various scattered historical scattered spots in Sherpur and Kahalu Upazilas of Bogra. To preserve the archipelago of this region, there is a museum protected in the north of Mahasthan Average.

Apart from the 5th-century terracotta sculpting statue, from 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th century black stone Ambika and iron made products, various types of precious metals are preserved. According to the available data, the house of the Basullah Laksmindar was excavated in 1934-36 as an archeological site. Available 13 meters high mound or storied ruins. A Buddhist temple was built in the 6th century AD during the first construction era. Later, during the Sen period, a square temple of Shiva was built on the ruins. Later, the height of the floor of the temple was further increased.
