Today's mapping video, we are going to be looking at a what if scenario where Azerbaijan forms an empire. Azerbaijan is a small country located in the Caucasus Region, along the western shores of the Caspian Sea.
Azerbaijan is in an interesting area, with Russia in the north and Iran, both which are strong countries and nearby Turkey, an ally of Azerbaijan. What if Azerbaijan wanted to form an empire? Azerbaijan would be buffed in order to form a really big empire around the Caspian sea, but would face challenges in it's territorial expansion due to multiple countries forming anti-expansionist alliances.
