Hardly ever, does someone feel that they have fully completed a work of art. Just the statement alone, “a work of art” implies excellence, pride and most importantly, completion. How does one tell when art is finished? In our own heads it seems that a project never reaches precision, and never ever completion. Now this may not be for everyone, but there’s a point in creativity when you feel you could do more harm than good by continuing onward. Except that when we do continue, we usually reach a place that we never though possible before. God gives us that inspiration and we hold ourselves back from realizing its full potential of our own fear of going beyond what we might perceive as good enough. For me, I know that I am still bridled by that innate fear of ruining something I’ve started, that I felt was complete, but should have taken further. The music I create as default_test_tone will try to break away from the default and become the melodic precision that I’m inspired from within my mind. Thank you for listening.
