The LTC2000 (http://www.linear.com/product/LTC2000) is the latest high speed DAC from Linear Technology. Its low noise and excellent spectral purity make it ideal for demanding signal-generation applications.
The LTC2000 is a high performance DAC that can produce signals up to 1GHz with extremely low noise and very high spectral purity. It can be operated in single or dual port mode simplifying FPGA design. It is in a family of 16-, 14- and 11- bit pin- compatible converters increasing the flexibility for the customer.
In this video, we will show the LTC2000 and its analog performance. We will also show the LTC6946, a high frequency synthesizer driving the LTC2000. This combination is an ideal solution for a customer looking for a clocking solution for the LTC2000 that provides excellent noise and spurious performance.
