NCT Navy Line 48 (Trent Bridge Diversion) Full Route Visual- City, Beastmarket Hill to Clifton

Описание: Hello, here's a full route visual of the Navy Line 48, which displays the route from City, Beastmarket Hill to Clifton, Nobel Road via Broadmarsh, Nottingham Railway Station, Meadows Way, Trent Bridge, Wilford Lane, Wilford Green, Silverdale and Clifton Centre.

At the time of filming (February 2020), the 48 used ADL Enviro 400 Scania N230UDs from the Gotham Garage, at a frequency of every 10 minutes. Now it is operated out of the Parliament Street Garage.

This was filmed when Clifton Bridge was closed to all traffic, meaning the 48 had to do a rather large diversion via the closest possible bridge over the River Trent: Trent Bridge. I filmed this early on a Saturday morning, so traffic was fairly minimal, although the closure of Clifton Bridge actually resulted in Nottingham being crowned the most congested city in the world on February 10th 2020 (with more than twice as much congestion as Bangalore in India on the same day)!!

Thankfully, they quickly managed to get a lane open on Clifton Bridge (this has since increased to 2), so the 48 could serve most of it's real route again.
