Safe and reliable. These cables are designed to connect and couple your trailer to your vehicle to ensure safe towing. Use correctly. Safety chain requirements require the use of two cables at a time and the breaking strength of each be equal to or exceed the gross trailer weight. In other words, a 3500lb trailer needs two safety cables each with a break strength of at least 3500 pounds. Many trailer safety cables will deceptively and falsely advertise the combined break strength or working load limit (WLL). Ensure the break strength of each trailer safety cable equals or exceeds the gross trailer weight.
