Wealth and Family: Prophet Ayyub (AS)
was very wealthy. Allah had blessed him with many cattle, farms, children, and relatives. He lived a life of gratitude to Allah for all these blessings.

The Test: The devil (Iblis), jealous of the piety of Prophet Ayyub (AS), began to test him with the permission of Allah. This test was to show how steadfast he was in his prayer to Allah.

Trials:

First, all his wealth and possessions were destroyed.

Later, all his children died.

. Finally, he was struck by a severe illness, which caused people to abandon him and his wife and exile them to a remote corner of the country.

Unwavering Patience: Despite all the hardships that he faced, Prophet Ayyub (a.s.) never lost hope in Allah. He did not complain, but rather patiently praised and prayed to Allah. Only his wife, Rahmat Beebi, was with him during this time of hardship.

Prayer and Deliverance: Years

After a long ordeal, Prophet Ayyub (a.s.) prayed to Allah: "Trouble has touched me, and You are the Most Merciful of the Merciful" (Quran 21:83).

Blessings Returned:



Allah heard his prayer and granted him relief from the illness. Allah commanded him to stamp his foot on the ground, and a cool spring gushed out. When he bathed in it and drank from it, all his illnesses were cured and he regained his health. Allah blessed him with more wealth and children than he had lost.

This story of Prophet Ayyub (a.s.) gives a great message that no matter what difficulties arise in life, one should not lose faith in Allah and patience.
