I have traveled Europe for 3 years now and every year I make one of these award reels.Here’s my reasoning for the 2025 awards:

Kindest people: Hungary 🇭🇺
Hungary takes this one for me. It’s one of the countries I have visited the most times and never did I have a bad experience with an Hungarian person. Insanely hospitable people!

🥈Türkiye
🥉 Bosnia

Best nature: Switzerland 🇨🇭
The best nature award I give to Switzerland. I guess that won’t come as a surprise. Every time I go to Switzerland it’s to hike through the beautiful Alps
(I can’t ski).

🥈Iceland
🥉Greece

Best cuisine: Türkiye 🇹🇷
One award that never changes is best cuisine. Türkiye wins every time. I love Turkish food and no it’s not just Döner… They have many more delicious dishes!

🥈France
🥉Italy

Safest & Cleanest: Poland 🇵🇱
Poland would probably be the country I would want to emigrate to if I had to leave my home country (NL). It’s the most peaceful and safest country I have visited and the big cities are spotless. I love Poland!

🥉Denmark

Most underrated: Bosnia & Herzegovina 🇧🇦
By far the most underrated even! Everyone always goes to Croatia these days and that’s fine. But give Bosnia a chance! You’d be surprised how great it is. Kind people, beautiful nature, and delicious food!

🥈Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania

Cheapest: Albania 🇦🇱
The most affordable country I have visited is Albania. Beautiful nature they have there too! In Tirana I was eating big main courses for approximately €5… Definitely have to to back asap!

🥉North-Macedonia

Craziest nightlife: Serbia 🇷🇸
Another award that never changes. Serbia wins the best nightlife for the third year in a row. The parties in Belgrade aren’t like any other parties you’ve been to. Go check them out for yourself!

🥉Czechia

Let me know if you agree or disagree! Keep in mind, I have been to most countries in Europe, but I haven’t had the chance to explore them all equally. In Greece for example I have only been to Athens and Crete. And I haven’t visited Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus either.
