In this video, I perform a version for cello and piano of one of the most famous arias by Giacomo Puccini, Un bel di vedremo, from the opera Madama Butterfly. This aria expresses the dream of the protagonist, Cio-Cio-San, to see her beloved Pinkerton again, who has abandoned her in Japan. The melody is sweet and melancholic, but also full of hope and confidence in the future. The cello imitates the human voice, while the piano creates a harmonic and rhythmic accompaniment. I hope you enjoy my interpretation of a masterpiece of Italian opera music12
