first test on the rapidor, is on othe fastest speed, motor is running in the normal direction
the other 2 vids I uploaded was done with the motor wired up backwards and didn't realise until I uploaded, so done another vid for it, simple job to do was to swop 2 phases over to run in the right direction
the size of the bar im cutting on this vid is approx. 2 inches, also running the saw at the moment without coolant, I have the original pump, and that will be removed stripped down and cleaned up.
the only other job to do is re-wire the saw, as the original wiring is a bit old and needs replacing
managed to get this rapidor major for less that the 2 tins of paint , it was going for scrap before I got my hands on it
done a complete strip down of the saw and repainted and rebuilt
done a few test cuts and the cut is sound and nice and square
still a few bits to do on the saw, but is now ready to work again,
