Today, let’s talk about why India hasn’t made it big at Mr. Olympia — and what we can do to change that.
Even though we have the talent, most Indian bodybuilders struggle due to a lack of funding, no proper sponsorship, fewer career options, and very little international exposure. Travel costs, language barriers, politics in federations, and no family support make things even harder.
Still, some Indian athletes have reached the Mr. Olympia stage with pure dedication. Imagine what could happen if they actually had full support behind them!
We need to spread awareness, support athletes on social media, push for government help, create more local competitions, and treat bodybuilding as a serious sport. Brands and people like us can play a huge role by simply backing our athletes.
