Please check out this new, old-stock knife from the Rough Ryder/Rider Reserve line, the model number RRR004 called the Bar Back Folding Knife (or Cap Lifter).

Specifications: Closed Length 3.625", 2 blades of D2 tool steel (one off each bolster of nickel-sliver steel) both 2.375" long, one spear point / pen blade and one wharncliffe blade with cap-lifting notch/grind. The weight is 3.5 oz or 99 grams and the scales are black canvas micarta, 3-pinned construction, contoured and wood-grain finish.

While the knife is extremely easy to use when making draw cuts or opening bottles with the cap lifter, the use of the secondary blade is uncomfortable at best, with no less than 4 "hot spots", sharp corners, and sharp swedge of the main blade ... almost unusable. One should always carry this knife in a leather slip to avoid torn and/or ripped pockets/liners.

This knife currently can be purchased for a list price of $80, retail price of $50 at SMKW, or a sale price of $27 at Chicago Knife Works.

A well-built, unique, but uncomfortable ergonomics for 50% of it's use. My recommendation is ... go find a more traditional, 2-bladed same end cap lifter for the money.
