Описание: Gone are the days when I tried to make sure the pigeons are only in the air training or in the loft. I like to feed the racing pigeons on the ground. I think it is also beneficial especially at the hard races when they might need to feed on the ground for a few days if the race is very hard or they get lost. Better feed on the ground than in another loft. I also think that interacting with the local soil and flora makes them stronger, healthier and more adapted to the environment. They consume a lot of greens and stuff from the ground, especially when they grow youngsters.
