Описание: http://www.earthobservations.org The Group on Earth Observations (GEO) is building the Global Earth Observation System of Systems (GEOSS). In this short film "A Modern Explorer's Journey" you are taken on a journey around the world (less than 5 min) guided by water while learning about what and why Earth observations are so important to our modern society.

The film was shown at the opening session of the GEO Ministerial Summit in Geneva 17th January 2014 and on numerous stands at the GEO Exhibition during the Ministerial Week 13th - 17th January 2014.

A Modern Explorer's Journey was produced for GEO by Bente Lilja Bye and Rich Mathews.
