Why have I felt underemployed my whole life? How do I have a double major from @uwmadison, yet am only a lifetime bartender? Why can't I look for jobs? Should I put my bipolar accomplishments on my resume? What work is good for me and can I obtain it?
These questions are just the start. In this video, I discuss why it was so hard for me to even apply for jobs, how undiagnosed bipolar and drinking/gambling limited my ability for me to so much as look for jobs, and how putting bipolar on my resume worked out for me. Spoiler, it didn't.
This is why I have fallen back to bartending and serving every time. I discuss the drawbacks and benefits of working in the restaurant industry while living with bipolar disorder.
