Here is the making of a pull stud for the precivernier borer. The lathe is equiped with multifix B and a Newall Topaz DRO. That tiny machine weighs ~900kg.
It's the first time I work with C15 steel, it went pretty well so far, I thought that steel would be harder to work with.
This pull stud will be used on my boring mill that I keep putting back to work. The machine was in quite good condition when I first got it, except for the electrical part and a bearing in the spindle gears.
