The summer season is underway. Boat owners take to the sea at every available opportunity. They use slipways to launch their boats.
During the past weeks, Transport Malta has been preparing the various slipways around the Maltese Islands, with signs and paint to help avoid blocked slipways. A number of drivers or even boat users, tend to block the slipways either selfishly or because they are not aware that parking or mooring the boat there might obstruct others. The signs, paint and our enforcement officials will help everyone be more careful and allow the unimpeded use of the slipways.
