When we got this Big Bear 350 , we fixed the front end suspension and wheel bearings , gave it a tune up ,a fluids change and then went to work sanding the previous owners paint job off with 220 . Only to realize the previous owner sanded with 60-100 grit before painting over it , we sanded with 220 ,320 ,400, and 600 but there are still scratches in deep. ( He also painted over the mud and dirt )
I then applied 2 coats of pc renew , let dry (10 min or so ) and used the fine steel wool provided , and then applied 6 more liberal coats lettings dry between coats . It is not perfect by far but looks way better than it did.
I will be using this product again on my 2004 Yamaha Kodiak 450 as well to get rid of the oxidation but sand with only 400 and 600 grit. Soo... I definitely recommend trying this product to renew your Plastics. , and will buy decals soon..
