This 6’1” grand piano has everything we have come to expect from Yamaha, plus a couple of bonus features.  The responsive action and medium-light touch are hallmarks of Yamaha quality, as are the full bass, long sustain and crisp treble timbres.  In our opinion, the 6’1” size represents a sweet spot among Yamaha models wherein there is enough power for professional studio use, but in a package that feels at home in a living room.

Two additional features make this a particularly good find.  It has textured key tops that add to playing comfort and give it an ivory-like warmth.  It also has a factory-installed Disklavier player system that uses 3.5” disks so you can enjoy piano entertainment when you are away from the keyboard.
