One year ago, Rachel and I took a leap and became the new stewards of a small orchard in Platte City, Missouri.
What followed has been one of the most challenging, meaningful, and rewarding years of our lives.
Apple of My Eye Farm & Orchard is a 33-acre orchard just north of Kansas City where families can slow down, spend time together, and make what we like to call “core memories.” From U-pick apples and fresh donuts to hayrides, animals, and fall weekends with friends and family, our hope is that this place becomes part of your story too.
This short film is a look back at our first year here. The work, the growth, the quiet moments, and the memories that started it all.
