The Keihan 8000 series (branded as Elegant Saloon エレガントサルーン) is the main Limited Express rolling stock on the Keihan Electric Railway. It typically runs between Osaka and Kyoto on Limited Express services, and has recently included a new reserved premium car (the equivalent of KCR first class/JR green car) service. It was first introduced in 1989 and refurbished in 2010, manufactured by Kawasaki Heavy Industries.
