This is an audiovisual essay based in archival research and scholarly research asking the question what happened to the Cowboy as a mythos. With the project, I aim to connect this character to the character of the Hippie arguing they are two sides of the same coin––both attempts to save a world that perhaps never was theirs (or not entirely real at all).
