In October of 2023 I received three OMs from Boucher: SG-21-G Bubinga, SG-41-G Mahogany, and an SG-51-G Rosewood, all with torrefied Adirondack Red Spruce tops. The Bubinga has become my favorite. Tonally, it is closer to Rosewood than Mahogany. But, where Rosewood can sound a bit harsh with all the overtones the Bubinga pulls things back just a little bit, softening the edges of the tone.
