This video is a bit short, but doesn’t mean it’s not as significant as it shows a lot of landmarks still left from the Reading railroad. To not confuse you here’s a quick history about the Perkioman branch vvv
It was built by the Perkiomen Railway Company shortly after the Civil War being a vital corridor to transporting coal, grain, stone, and Perkioman ice from local ice houses.
The line runs from Emmaus Junction near Allentown to Perkiomen Junction. Which that was originally built from the PRC. But then Reading & Philadelphia (More known as the Reading Railroad) got it farther south togo down to Philadelphia. But then ripped up to Pennsburg in 1972 before getting taken over by Conrail
