“Round-Robin Flight” begins in the early 1950s, when a young Air Force serviceman stationed in Illinois takes a round-robin flight in a World War II airplane, traveling coast to coast across America. What starts as a simple desire to get away becomes the opening page of a life shaped by service, faith, love, and survival.
This song sets the stage for the stories that follow — before Liberty Lake, before meeting Dee, before the moment that changed everything.
