Today on #DriveForHistory we show you the 1930 Harley-Davidson Model DLD that Dale and Matt built in 2009 to race at the Maxton Mile in NC. After the first two attempts were met with problems, Dale's third run set a land-speed record of 90.3 miles an hour.
Dale's Wheels Through Time Museum, located in Maggie Valley, NC, features over 375 American motorcycles, unique cars, and transportation history.
