Yellowstone National Park was the first of its kind in the world, and started the process of creating national parks here and abroad. It is the home to the largest number of geothermal features in the world, with over half of all the know such features within its boundaries.
We first visited Yellowstone in 1991 when both our girls were at home with us and we were all quite a bit younger (by 28 years in fact1). The charm of Yellowstone has only increased and on this trip we took a lot more time to visit and explore. Even then we only touched a part of what Yellowstone has to offer, but we would like you to come along as we find geysers, hot springs, deer, buffalo, and pronghorns during our visit. And there isn't a more beautiful site than the lower falls at sunrise. Please enjoy our visit, and plan your own to this remarkable place.
