Описание: Kuari pass Trek is a mountain lovers’ delight. You have an unending vista of the biggest mountains in India. You even get to see the clearest view of the full face of Mt Nanda Devi, India’s 2nd highest mountain.

Highlights:

Day 1: Khullara meadow in the shadow of Mt Dronagiri, leaves you in awe of your surroundings.

Day 2: One can witness an unending list of the big mountains from the Kuari top. I bet there is nothing close to this you would ever see in your life. The trek later takes you on the windy ridge with a combination of ascent, and descent to the lovely forests of Chitrakantha and Tali. On the way to Tali, it is the day to witness and soak into the views of Mt. Nanda Devi. The initial climb to Tali lake through the forest and then trek on a sharp ledge. The mountains get bigger as you walk on the lovely Gorson Bugyal to end the trek at Auli.

Normally done in 4 to 6 days. We finished the trek in two days and got down at Auli on the third day.

The highest point of the trek is at 12,763 ft or 3890 meters.

Here's the itinerary, keep in mind this is not how normally it's done but if you are prepared to walk 8 to 10 hours everyday, it is very much possible.

Delhi to Haridwar in a Volvo
Haridwar to Joshimath in local bus.
Day 1:Trek starting point: Dhak village in Joshimath, First stop at Khullara, Camp site for the night
Day 2: Early Morning departure from Camp summit at 11 and then down just above Auli by the 5 P.M
Day 3: 2.5 hour trek down to Auli, then Auli to Joshimath in a shared cab
Day 4: Departure from Joshimath to Haridwar and then Delhi
