THE LONG TABLE CHRISTMAS 2020 👩‍🍳 COMFORT AND JOY

Описание: 🎅 We have been busy over the last few months making sure comfort and joy is had by all this festive season! 3,500 festive packs and meals will be delivered to the doorsteps of people across Gloucestershire this Christmas – made by the team at The Long Table in Brimscombe 👩‍🍳

🛍 What’s in the bag?
🍗 A delicious meal (of course!), featuring either roasted chicken thigh with seasonal @tubbytoms rub or a slice of our special recipe Christmas veggie loaf – both served with sourdough bread sauce, gravy and all the trimmings.
🍽 Long Table placemat – festively decorated with Christmas cracker jokes, things to ask ourselves and a competition to win a week’s worth of our meals in 2021!

🚚 Who are the meals going to?
2,000 will be distributed by over 40 churches around Gloucestershire. They will deliver them to people in their parishes who are shielding this Christmas, or those who will especially benefit from a meal and some Christmas joy!

1,200 will be distributed by 48 volunteer food bank drivers to people and families that are known to food banks around the district.

150 will be enjoyed by care givers and receivers at The Longfield Trust.

100 meals have been delivered to international students at @uniofglos who can’t see their families this Christmas.

The remaining meals will be distributed through our collection of Freezers of Love ❄️

Massive thanks to the legion of volunteers, finding houses, to bring meals to people.
