In the centre of Manchester there are very few outdoor skateparks and the ones that are there might as well not be as they are that bad. Skaters always just take to the streets because of that reason. However, the council don't like this and always skate stop places and kick you out. Even though they don't want skaters out in the streets they still won't build a good skatepark for the city.
It was time for the skaters to take matters into their own hands. So Gooseside DIY was born.
